Keen!! I may be away both middle-weekends of May though... seeing ALICE COOPER in Barrie the 2nd weekend, and maybe a comic-con in Detroit 3rd weekend.

I just went back to Dream Music World for the first time in months, and felt like a pig in hog heaven who happens to have a "thing" for "dead angel pigs". The place is packed with more shelves now, and more customers (now that word's clearly gotten out); they have a documentary section of random BBC stuff, and all the asian films are split-up by country of origin.

They're now 6-for-$20, so i grabbed:
- Miike's "The Great Yokai War"
- Jackie Chan's "Myth"
- some new Hero-esque Ronny Yu film "Fearless"
- Sympathy For Lady Vengeance
- "Shinobi" (this better be based off the game!!)
- some epic-looking children's film called "A Chinese Tall Story", the description of which begins with "A connection with other galaxies even before Star Wars came into being..." I can't wait to watch it and realize this is the prequel Lucas SHOULD've made.

I'm interested in seeing "Lady Vengeance" and that "Chinese Tall Story". I acquired a copy of "the Great Yokai War" and watched about half of it. I really need to finish it. It's really fun and bizarre and full of all kinds of strange monsters and stuff.

I'll keep you posted...I don't know if that trip is going to happen, but the girlfriend's housemates are probably going and I think there'd be room for me. And now I have extra incentive in that I'd get to see the new and improved Dream Music World! Maybe this time I could even eat at Sneaky Dee's!

I saw Papal Chase at the Bloor a few weeks ago; Hilarious!

But now I get to tape it off CBC for free instead of paying the $20 they wanted at the bloor for unlabelled DVD-R burned copies of it. Thanks, Ms. Retard! =D

I got to meet Spenny inside the KvsS house recently and he was telling me about all the many licenced versions of the show around the world beyond Ed vs Spencer. There's one in Amsterdam starring two girls/pornstars(?), and a turkish one called something like "Cirque vs. Oleg" which i SO need on a t-shirt.

A friend was gonna interview them @ the house for a documentary she's doing, but in the end, only Spenny showed up. Which is kinda like meeting Carl, but not Lenny.

BUT I think I'm working on Thursday, AND I'm not exactly awesome when it comes to horror movies...
And your description of meeting Spenny is absolutely hilarious. I kind of agree, but I used to like Spenny the most..
The post about meeting Spenny is on June 15th so y'all can check it. It isn't very long, but it was pretty funny. He was with his cousin and friend, and his cousin most definitely asked me if I liked circumsized or uncircumsized more... which... was rather awkward, so I stumbled out "boyfriend........sized?" which made him laugh. It was very very weird, but also very very fun.
